Maybe your instructor or supervisor will guide you to find a related research topic. Sometimes they will assign you the research topic.

You can find your own interesting research topic.
Find your own research topic is the most struggling part. You can ask for some ideas from your parents, relatives and classmates. While discussing you can find some key ideas. Also, you can consider your own interests.
Start with your favourite subject or the subject unit that you think you need to know more or deeply. Discuss with your family, relatives, friends or teachers. While you are discussing, you will find some related words to your chosen areas. Write down them, because you have found some keywords. 
Go with those keywords you have written down. Search through the internet, articles, books and any other source that helps to find details about those keywords. At this stage, you can dop any word that you think you are no longer interested in.
Next search related articles or researches are done in world history. There may be thousand and thousand researches under the same topic. Some found the impact level, influence, affect, relationship or importance.

Keyword: Impact
  • impact of customer demographics on buying behaviour

After all these processes, you will be able to find some interesting keywords and topics you want to do research. Further, you can discuss with your lecturer, instructor or supervisor about the most suitable topic for you.
